Pakistan’s right-arm pacer Naseem Shah has recovered from his injury just in time for the second ODI of the three-match series against Australia, set to take place on Friday at Adelaide Oval.

Reports indicate that Naseem participated fully in the national team’s training session today and bowled at his maximum capacity. Sources confirm that he will be available for the second ODI.

During the series opener against Australia, Naseem had to leave the field mid-way through his eighth over due to severe cramps. Despite this, he showcased impressive all-round performance in Pakistan’s two-wicket loss, achieving bowling figures of 1/39 in 7.2 overs and contributing a quick 40 runs with the bat, including one four and four sixes.

Currently, Australia leads the three-match series 1-0 following their narrow two-wicket win in the opening match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The second ODI is scheduled for Friday at Adelaide Oval.

The Pakistani team has had a challenging ODI record at Adelaide Oval, winning only one of their eight matches there. Their sole victory at the venue came in 1996 under Wasim Akram’s captaincy when Saqlain Mushtaq’s five-wicket haul led them to a 12-run win over Australia.
