As the 2024 US presidential election approaches, both candidates, Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump, are making their final campaign pushes in critical swing states.

Harris addressed voters at a historic Black church in Michigan, emphasizing the importance of action and community involvement, while Trump rallied supporters in Pennsylvania, where he criticized polls favoring Harris.

Current polling indicates a tight race, with Harris receiving strong backing from women voters, while Trump is gaining traction among Hispanic men.

Despite unfavorable views of both candidates, voter turnout remains robust, with over 76 million early ballots cast, nearing half of the total votes in the 2020 election.

Control of Congress is also at stake, with Republicans expected to secure a Senate majority and Democrats having a chance to reclaim the House.

Harris aims to secure approximately 45 electoral votes from seven competitive states, while Trump needs around 51 to win the presidency.

In Michigan, Harris faces challenges from some Arab American voters who feel her administration has not sufficiently addressed the conflict in Gaza.

Trump, who recently campaigned in Dearborn, has vowed to end military involvement in the Middle East.

As Election Day approaches, both candidates are intensifying their efforts to sway undecided voters, with Harris pledging to tackle rising living costs and Trump blaming the current administration for inflation and immigration concerns.

The outcome remains uncertain as both parties gear up for a pivotal election.
