A wildfire that erupted last night in the Dakhan Syedan forest area of Lower Galliyat in Abottabad continues to rage.

Local efforts to extinguish the blaze have been unsuccessful.

The fire, which initially started in Dakhan Syedan, has now spread to the nearby Pinghora Singli forest.

The Forest Department, Wildlife Department, and district administration have been criticized for their inaction, with concerns growing that the fire could spread further due to the lack of timely intervention.
