Authorities in Sharjah have successfully seized several endangered migratory birds during a coordinated operation in the Al Buhayis area.

The Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA), alongside local law enforcement, confiscated ten curlews and one houbara bustard, both of which are classified as endangered species.

In addition to the birds, officials also confiscated two illegal bird-calling devices, which are prohibited under Resolution No. (12) of 2014.

This legislation bans the possession, sale, and use of such devices in Sharjah.
