Pakistan increases monitoring of air traffic amid Iran-Israel tensions

Sources claim that Iranian airspace was closed until 10:30 am

Pakistan’s Air Traffic Control (ATC) has heightened monitoring of air traffic entering Pakistani airspace in response to escalating tensions between Iran and Israel.

Media reports indicate that the closure of Iranian airspace has led to flights rerouting through Omani airspace instead. Pakistan is particularly focused on monitoring flights approaching its airspace from the west. Each flight is being verified before being granted entry.

Sources claim that Iranian airspace was closed until 10:30 am (PST) following the increase in tensions.

The Iranian military has reported that prior to dawn, Israeli air strikes caused damage only to radar systems in Tehran and other provinces.

Iran’s priority is now a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon. A statement asserted that Iran successfully defended itself, intercepting incoming Israeli missiles and preventing enemy aircraft from entering its airspace.
