Pakistan sends 13th relief shipment to Gaza

Pakistan dispatched its 13th shipment of humanitarian aid to the war-affected population of Gaza. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) coordinated the delivery on the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

This latest consignment includes 100 tonnes of winterized tents and blankets, which will be sent from Islamabad to Amman, Jordan, for those in need in Gaza on Saturday.

The send-off ceremony took place at Islamabad International Airport, attended by Advisor on Legal Affairs Barrister Aqeel Malik, Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan Zuhair M. H. Darzaid, and representatives from the NDMA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

To date, Pakistan has sent a total of 1,381 tonnes of relief supplies to assist the people of Gaza and Lebanon.
