In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, three underage boys gang-raped a five-year-old girl who was living in their building. The boys also threatened to kill the child, leaving her severely traumatized and in shock.

This shameful incident occurred in the Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. On October 16th, the three boys committed the rape on the terrace of the building. Police have arrested all three perpetrators.

The cuplrits are 6, 13 and 16 years old.

A case has been registered against the boys under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, following a complaint filed by the child’s mother. SP Veer Singh conducted an inspection of the scene with forensic experts. An investigation has begun based on available evidence and information.

The three underage perpetrators are being interrogated. This is not an isolated incident; last month in the same city, two boys, aged eight and seven, gang-raped a seven-year-old girl.
