London court rules in favor of eight former PIA employees in unfair dismissal case
A London court has sided with eight former employees of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in their unfair dismissal case.
The court has ordered PIA to pay £500,000, approximately Rs180.7 million, in compensation to the affected employees.
These individuals were terminated from their positions two years ago and contended that their dismissals were unjust.
Reports suggest that the former employees had been with the airline for periods ranging from 5 to 15 years.
