Indian celebrity couple launches clothing brand labelDKI, but fans aren’t happy with rates
Indian celebrity couple Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar launched their clothing brand “lableDKI” on Thursday, but most of their fans are not happy with the rates.
“Whenever you start a new thing, you are afraid. But this fine,” Ibrahim said in his vlog on Wednesday and expressed hope that “everything would be fine.”
DKI in the brand name stands for Dipika Kakar Ibrahim. The first stock is ready to ship and will be dispatched “as soon as possible” after the order, according to the couple. But international shipping is not possible “for now.”
The Indian celebrity couple is a household name and is known for their roles in Indian TV serials. Dipika also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss in 2006.
“An honest feedback. The suits are very average in looks and are highly priced,” said one of the users on YouTube while reacting to Shoaib’s October 16 vlog.
She claimed that she had purchased suits from other brands at a reasonable price. “Also, the designs are not unique. This stuff is available in the local markets at an affordable rate. You need to work on pricing and designs both.”
One of their fans asked them to take the criticism positively. “As a customer, we want something exclusive and pocket-friendly. Also, we get ‘copy’ bridal suits of Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi at INR30,000.”
Another YouTuber user said that rates were very high and claimed that similar suits were available at cheaper prices at markets.
“You can keep high prices for designer suits even daily wear ones but it has to be something exceptional.”
According to the website, the brand offers “Daily Pehnava”, “Kuch Khaas”, “Tyohaaron ke Liye”, and “Label DKI brides.”

Many people were not OK with the rates of Label DKI bride suits. Prices started from INR28,000.
“Price is too high we can shop for Myntra or any other brand in less amount is look so common design,” said one user.
