Fake urea factory sealed by district administration in Peshawar
The district administration has successfully shut down a fraudulent urea factory that was mixing stone and gypsum with urea in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Saleem Akram reported that a joint operation, led by the Assistant Commissioner (City) and officials from the Agriculture Department, targeted the factory located on Dallazak Road.
During the raid, officials uncovered counterfeit urea packaged in the branding of reputable companies. The factory has been sealed, and all products have been confiscated.
The owner, who possesses a license from the Agriculture Department, will face legal consequences as confirmed by the Deputy Commissioner.
