A high-level Chinese investigation team has arrived in Karachi to examine the site of a recent suicide attack targeting a Chinese delegation and their security convoy near Jinnah International Airport.

Upon their arrival, the Chinese investigators were briefed by Pakistani officials on the findings related to the attack.

Due to heightened security measures at the airport, the attacker was unable to enter, leading him to carry out the suicide bombing at a traffic signal outside the airport.

The investigation team reviewed evidence collected by Pakistani agencies and gathered additional evidence from the scene.

Sources indicate that the remains found at the site have been identified as those of the suicide bomber, identified as Shah Fahad, based on matching records from the National Database and Registration Authority.

Investigators are awaiting analysis reports on explosive samples to determine the type of explosives used.
