The provincial government stated that the late-night talks resulted in an agreement that the Jirga will present its demands peacefully. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur pledged his support, stating he would personally champion the Jirga’s cause and work to ensure its demands are met.

Provincial Minister Pakhtun Yar Khan confirmed the agreement in a phone interview, emphasizing that peace, development, and prosperity are shared goals. He affirmed that the Jirga has been granted permission to proceed, provided its participants remain within the confines of the law and constitution.
