Sanjay Dutt, Maanayata Dutt renew their wedding vows
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, recently featured in the streaming film Ghudchadi, has once again exchanged wedding vows with his wife, Maanayata Dutt.
A video capturing the couple taking their pheras went viral on social media on Wednesday. In the clip, Sanjay is seen dressed in a saffron kurta and pyjama, complemented by a towel, while Maanayata wore simple white attire.
The ceremony was part of a pooja (worshipping of God) held at their newly renovated home in Mumbai. Maanayata also shared a glimpse of the ceremony on her Instagram Story, celebrating this special moment in their lives.
Maanayata recently shared an older photo of herself and Sanjay at a temple, sitting in front of a havankund, a vessel used to hold sacred fire during Vedic rituals. The couple was seen walking around the havankund while priests recited wedding mantras.
This ceremony, known as the saat pheras or saptapadi, involves seven rounds that symbolize promises made between the couple for their lifetime.
