Renowned actor Mazhar Ali passed away on Tuesday.

Ali had been suffering lung and heart diseases for some time and had been undergoing treatment.

He died in Houston, United States, where he had been residing for many years.

Mazhar Ali’s sister stated that he had been ill for quite some time and passed away in his sleep. She further explained that his ill health had prevented him from working on television channels.

Mazhar Ali is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a son.

He held a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from NED University. He was a well-known actor, having appeared in numerous Pakistan Television dramas, including notable roles in Shaheen, Khuda Aur Mohabbat, Hala, Intezaar Kar Bhi, Tabeer, Aroosa, and Afshan.
