Intruder breaks into woman’s home, leaves creepy note and cooks meal

A unique burglary case in Wales, has resulted in a 22-month prison sentence for 36-year-old Damian Wojnilowicz.

The burglar broke into a woman’s home in Monmouthshire, where he not only ransacked her belongings but also completed various household chores, including hanging laundry, putting away groceries, and mopping the floor.

The incident took place on July 16.

Upon returning, the unnamed victim discovered her home had been disturbed, with items rearranged and a meal prepared using her groceries.

Wojnilowicz even left a creepy note that read: “Don’t worry, be happy, eat up and scratch.”

The incident left the homeowner deeply shaken, prompting her to stay with a friend due to heightened anxiety. She expressed fears that she might have been targeted or stalked.

Wojnilowicz was apprehended after committing a second burglary on July 29, where he used another man’s home to wash his clothes and enjoy the hot tub.
