Special security arrangements made as Dr Zakir Naik arrives in Karachi tomorrow

Renowned Islamic scholar and preacher Dr. Zakir Naik is scheduled to arrive in Karachi on Wednesday (tomorrow), with extensive security arrangements in place for his visit.

The police have confirmed that Dr. Naik’s security will be managed by the Special Security Unit (SSU).

On October 2, Dr. Naik will be welcomed at Karachi Airport by prominent figures including Governor of Sindh Kamran Tessori, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, and Mayor of Karachi Murtaza Wahab.

During his visit, Dr. Naik is set to meet with esteemed scholars such as Mufti Taqi Usmani and Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman. He will also hold discussions with Mufti Abdul Rahim, the head of Jamia Rashid, along with other notable personalities and senior bureaucrats from Sindh.

On October 4, he plans to visit a significant government institution and will address a ceremony at the Quaid’s Mausoleum on October 5.

Following a series of private meetings scheduled from October 7 to 10, Dr. Naik will depart from Karachi to Lahore on the morning of October 11.

Dr Naik landed at Islamabad International Airport early on Monday and was welcomed by officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs including Syed Dr Atta ur Rehman. Rana Mashood and Parliamentary Secretary Religous Affairs Shamsher Ali Mazari were also present at the airport.
