Which cities will Zakir Naik visit in Pakistan?

He will be in Pakistan from October 5 to October 20

World-renowned Islamic preacher Dr. Zakir Naik is set to return to Pakistan for a highly anticipated series of public lectures, igniting excitement among his followers.

The tour, which kicks off on October 5 in Karachi and concludes in Islamabad on October 20, will see Dr. Naik deliver lectures in three major cities: Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

His son, Dr. Fariq Naik, also an Islamic scholar, will join him on the tour, delivering lectures in all three cities. The father-son duo will share their insights on various Islamic topics, engaging with audiences and fostering dialogue.

The tour’s first stop will be in Karachi, where Dr. Naik will address the fundamental question of “the purpose of our life” at Bagh-e-Quaid, located opposite the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The following day, Dr. Fariq Naik will delve into the importance of understanding the Quran, delivering a lecture titled “Kya Quran ko Samajh kar Parhna Zaroori Hai” (Is it necessary to understand the Quran while reading?).

While the dates for the Lahore (October 12th and 13th) and Islamabad (October 19th and 20th) lectures have been announced, the specific topics and venues for these events remain under wraps, adding to the anticipation surrounding the tour.

Dr. Naik’s return to Pakistan comes after a period of self-imposed exile following controversies in India. He currently resides in Malaysia, where he continues to deliver lectures and engage with audiences globally.

In a recent interview, Dr. Naik explained his decision to move to Malaysia instead of Pakistan, citing an Islamic principle that emphasizes accepting a lesser harm to avoid a greater one. He stated that relocating to Pakistan would have potentially exposed him to false accusations and propaganda from India, hindering his efforts to spread Islamic teachings.
