Rawalpindi protest postponed
Separately, Jamaat-e-Islami has postponed a sit-in planned for today in Rawalpindi.
JI had called for a sit-in at Liaquat Bagh Chowk on Murree Road on September 29th. The sit-in was postponed due to concerns about road closures and potential disruption to public order.
The information secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Rawalpindi stated that the sit-in will now be held next Friday.
