What are the new rates after Punjab cuts court fees

One-time court fee has been fixed at Rs100 for a certified copy of an order or judgment from civil court

The Punjab government announced on Saturday a reduction in the court fees, fees for certified copies and other court matters after the signing by the governor.

According to a notification, a one-time court fee has been fixed at Rs100 for a certified copy of an order or judgment from a civil court, one-time court fee for a certified copy of an order or judgment from the high court will be Rs500.

Meanwhile, the court fee for a certified copy is Rs10 per page instead of Rs100.

A one-time court fee of Rs 500 has been set for a revision application to the Board of Revenue and Commissioners under the Punjab Tenancy Act 1887. According to this, a one-time court fee of Rs500 will be charged for a revision application in the High Court under CPC Section 15. Likewise, court fees have been reduced from Rs100 to Rs10 on applications in Customs, Excise, Land Revenue, and Civil Court cases with values less than Rs10,000.

Similarly, the court fee on court revenue or rent application will be reduced from Rs500 to Rs10, and the court fee on request for transfer of case to court or authority will be Rs100 instead of Rs500.

The notification further read that the court fee on case transfer requests in the high court has been fixed at Rs200, while a court fee of Rs10 will be charged on request for a subpoena.

The court fee for submission of an affidavit or power of attorney in Civil, Criminal Court, and Revenue Court is fixed at Rs100.

While the court fee for filing an affidavit in high court or Board of Revenue will be reduced from Rs500 to Rs200. The court fee has been completely abolished on the lawyer’s letter, the court fee was reduced from Rs500 to Rs10 on the application for injunction.
