While the phones are not yet commercially available, their global launch, including in Pakistan, is expected later this month.

Based on the US starting price of $800 for the base iPhone 16, we can estimate potential prices in Pakistan.

At today’s exchange rate, $800 equates to approximately Rs222,735. Adding a 25% sales tax brings the price to around Rs279,154.

However, this calculation doesn’t account for the profit margin added by local retailers. Without a precise estimate, we can assume the iPhone 16 will likely cost over Rs330,000 in Pakistan, with prices potentially varying across different retailers.

Similarly, the iPhone 16 Plus, priced at $900, could easily reach Rs370,000.

The most expensive model, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, retailing for $1,199 in the US, could exceed Rs500,000, with higher storage variants potentially reaching Rs600,000.

Apple has highlighted “significant leaps” in battery life and new camera features for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max.

It’s important to note that the above price estimates are based on speculation and the actual prices will only be confirmed upon the phones’ arrival in Pakistan.
