Mashal Yousafzai denotified as advisor to CM
Mashal Yousafzai, the Advisor for Social Welfare in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been removed from her position.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi signed the denotification summary, which was submitted to him by the government two weeks ago.
Sources indicate that Yousafzai’s removal was directed by former PTI founder Imran Khan.
Yousafzai’s focus on party activities at the central level reportedly raised concerns among senior leadership, who informed Khan about the situation.
These concerns, coupled with past controversies, led to her removal.
Earlier this year in April, Yousafzai was accused of seeking approval to purchase a vehicle for herself and the Secretary of the Social Welfare and Development, Women, Zakat, and Ushr Department, in violation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s austerity policy.
