Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan reunite after 14 years for a horror comedy: ‘Bhooth Bangla’. The Khiladi shared the poster of the movie on his birthday on September 9.

“Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years,” Kumar said in a social media post.

Film critic Taran Adarsh said that Kumar and Priyadarshan’s collaboration has delivered several super-successes. Filming begins soon. They have previously teamed up on several successful films, including Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhaag, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

It would be released in 2025 release and produced by Kumar, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor.

The film promises a unique blend of horror and comedy, showcased in a motion poster shared by Akshay on social media. The teaser features the actor sipping milk while a black cat sits on his shoulder, hinting at the film’s quirky and playful tone.
