Apple is set to launch the highly anticipated iPhone 16 series and Apple Watch Series 10 today at its “Glowtime” event. The event will take place at Apple Park in California at 10 AM PT and will be streamed live on Apple’s official website and YouTube channel.

In addition to the new devices, Apple is expected to announce release dates for several upcoming software updates, including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, visionOS 2, and macOS Sequoia.

The iPhone 16 lineup will feature several models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. While Apple has kept details under wraps, leaks suggest significant upgrades, including the introduction of Apple Intelligence, aimed at enhancing user experience and competing in the AI smartphone market.

All models are expected to be powered by the new A18 chip, with Pro variants featuring distinct hardware configurations.

Notably, the standard and Plus models may replace the traditional Mute switch with a capacitive Action Button, while all models could include a new “Capture Button” for camera control.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are anticipated to share the same camera system, with the Pro model now featuring a 5x zoom periscopic telephoto lens.
