Police arrested a man in Gujranwala on Thursday under the allegation of sexual assault against young female students in a school run by his wife.

Five cases have been registered in connection with the incidents, which reportedly took place at a Government Non-Formal Education School where the teacher operated a home-based school under the Literacy Department.

The victims are aged between 11 and 14. The accused, identified as Imran, was arrested on Thursday.

They have been silent about the abuse due to fear, but one student recently disclosed the assaults to her family, prompting them to alert the authorities.

According to police reports, the accused had been targeting the girls for several years and had even recorded videos of the incidents.
