Haji Sabir Khan Bhittani, a well-known contractor and tribal leader, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Dera Ismail Khan.

The incident occurred near Sheikh Yousaf area, where unknown individuals opened fire on Bhittani, killing him instantly.

Police arrived at the scene and transported the body to the hospital for post-mortem examination.

The deceased belonged to the Bhittani tribe of FR Tank.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to apprehend the perpetrators.
