Pakistan invites Indian commerce minister to SCO Trade Ministers Meeting
Pakistan has extended an invitation to Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal to attend the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Trade Ministers Meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in Islamabad next week.
Sources reveal that invitations have also been sent to other SCO member countries including Uzbekistan, Belarus, China, Tajikistan, and others.
The meeting will see the participation of trade and economic ministers from all SCO member states.
The meeting is expected to focus on consultations regarding trade and economic cooperation between member countries. Proposals discussed during the ministerial meeting will be presented at the SCO Heads of State Summit, which is also scheduled to take place in Islamabad in October.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been invited to attend the Heads of State Summit.
