Russian spy whale found dead near Norway
Hvaldimir, a beluga whale known for its connections to Russian military intelligence, has been found dead off the coast of Norway.
The whale gained notoriety in 2019 when it was discovered wearing a harness believed to be used for spying.
Hvaldimir’s body was found in the waters near the town of Sæbøvik. Marine experts suspect that the whale may have died due to health issues related to its captivity and the stress of its previous life.
