Zara McDermott reflects on bullying experience amid ‘strictly’ allegations
Zara McDermott has opened up about her challenging school years, revealing that she faced bullying throughout her education.
In a candid interview on the Auto Trader’s Show On The Road podcast, the 27-year-old Strictly star shared that there was not a single day without bullying, stating, “I would go in every day just thinking, what’s it going to be like today?”
McDermott recounted specific incidents, including being ridiculed by her entire science class while teachers appeared to ignore the situation.
She recalled, “I remember being mocked by my entire science class… My teacher didn’t really do anything.”
This revelation comes in the wake of allegations against her professional dance partner, Graziano Di Prima, who was accused of misconduct during training last year, reportedly subjecting her to abusive behavior behind the scenes.
