Chappell Roan poised for Grammy success with “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess”
Chappell Roan’s debut album, “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess,” released in September 2023, is emerging as a strong contender for the Album of the Year Grammy.
The album has steadily climbed the Billboard 200, reaching number two by August 2024, 11 months after its release.
Roan’s chances for a Grammy nomination have significantly improved, currently holding the fourth position on Gold Derby’s racetrack chart, with a favorable 2.5 odds.
As of late August, 17 out of Gold Derby’s Top 24 users predict her nomination, with two backing her for the win.
Unlike many albums that see a quick rise and fall, Roan’s project has demonstrated sustained success, with her single “Good Luck, Babe!” peaking at number six long after its debut.
This organic growth may resonate well with Grammy voters, especially in a competitive field that includes previous winners like Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish.

Chappell Roan is set to make a significant impact in the music industry.
