A Qatar Airways flight bound for Nepal, designated as QR 652, was forced to make an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan due to a medical emergency involving a passenger onboard.

While the aircraft was flying through Pakistani airspace, one of the passengers fell critically ill.

The pilot then contacted the Karachi Air Traffic Control (ATC) and requested permission for an emergency landing.

Following the instructions from the Karachi ATC, the pilot redirected the flight from its original course over Sukkur to Karachi.

The flight QR 652 landed at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi at 8:15 am, where a medical team was ready to assist the ailing passenger.

The pilot had promptly requested emergency landing clearance from the Karachi ATC, and after receiving the necessary approval, the aircraft was able to land safely at the Karachi airport. The passenger in need of medical attention was then transported to a hospital in Karachi for further care.
