Fight over vuvuzela noice injures 10 in Pano Aqil

Ban orders completely ignored in Islamabad

Despite a strict order from the Deputy Commissioner (DC) banning the sale and use of fireworks in Islamabad, the city is experiencing a cacophony of noise as Independence Day approaches.

The order, issued on August 8, has been largely ignored, with residents complaining of rampant fireworks use and sales.

The Islamabad administration has been criticized for its inaction in enforcing the fireworks ban.

While the order aimed to maintain peace and quiet during the Independence Day celebrations, it has been disregarded by many, leading to widespread noise pollution and public disturbance.

Meanwhile, in the Sindh city of Pano Aqil, a clash erupted between two groups over the use of fireworks by children, leaving over 10 people injured.

The clash in Pano Aqil occurred in the Gharibabad area, involving members of the Undhar and Semajho communities. The dispute escalated when children from both groups engaged in fireworks, leading to a violent confrontation.

The situation further deteriorated when the injured were taken to the hospital, where another altercation broke out. Police eventually intervened to control the situation.
