On Independence Day, more than 50 people, including two women, were injured in aerial firing incidents in Karachi.

The injured were shifted to hospitals.

The firing incidents took place in Malir, PIB Colony, Old Golimar, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Malir, and Korangi.

It may be noted that last year as well, in the celebration of Independence Day, two civilians, including a woman, were killed in various incidents of aerial firing.
