Prices of petroleum products could be cut by Rs12: sources
A glimmer of hope for inflation-stricken Pakistanis as prices of petroleum products are expected to decrease by up to 12 rupees per liter.
Sources indicate that a significant reduction in prices of petroleum products is on the cards, with petrol, diesel, and kerosene all expected to become cheaper.
According to sources, petrol prices are likely to decrease by more than Rs9 per liter, while diesel prices could see a reduction of up to Rs8.5 per liter.
Kerosene prices are expected to drop by Rs12 per liter.

The final summary regarding petroleum product prices will be submitted to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on August 15.
The finance minister, in consultation with the prime minister, will announce the new prices.
