Legendary actor Tom Cruise is set to take the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony to new heights, literally.

The 62-year-old action star is reportedly planning a death-defying stunt that will see him rappel down from the top of the Stade de France and land on the field holding the Olympic flag.

Cruise, known for performing his own stunts in the Mission: Impossible franchise, is expected to cap off the games with this thrilling feat.

The actor has already been spotted cheering on top athletes at the Olympics and has even filmed a video welcoming the 2028 Olympics to Los Angeles.

The video features Cruise flying a plane with the Olympic flag from France to California, before skydiving down the iconic Hollywood sign.

This elaborate stunt appears to be part of Cruise’s efforts to pass the torch from Paris to the next host city, Los Angeles.

The actor has been spotted attending various Olympic events with celebrities like Ariana Grande and his ex-wife Nicole Kidman.
