Landslides in Naran have not only blocked the connecting roads, but also caused severe difficulties for citizens and tourists alike.

While a large number of tourists are struggling to get out of the difficulties, the local people are also at the forefront of helping the tourists.

Reema Shuaib, a resident of Karachi, had a conversation with BBC, in which she said that they had stopped in Naran on their way back from Skardu, where they learned that the connecting bridge had been swept away by the flood. Due to this, Reema and her family could not go back to Islamabad.

But the surprising thing for Reema was that the hotel owner said that the guests who were leaving could now stay for free and the food etc. would also be provided at half the price.

Reema further said that the hotel owners, the local people, the administration, the police, everyone has taken great care of us, we have paid half the cost of food and drink today compared to yesterday.

According to the BBC report, Mohammad Raza, who came to Naran for a trip with his friends from Quetta, said that when they tried to leave Naran, they were told that the roads were blocked.

In such a situation, we were at the mercy of the hotel owners, but they smiled and said that the hotel rooms are free for the stranded guests, and the food will also be available at half the price, even if they cannot pay, it doesn’t matter.
