Karachi, several parts of Sindh to receive rain, says PMD

Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast rain in various parts of Sindh, including Karachi, Thatta, Badin, and Sanghar, this evening or night.

According to the weather department, the sky is overcast in the city of Karachi, and with the sea breeze restored, the weather has become pleasant. There are chances of light rain and drizzle at some places in the city today as well.

The weather department said that winds are blowing at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour from the west, while the humidity level is 83 percent.

The current temperature in Karachi is 30 degrees Celsius, but it is being felt up to 36 degrees Celsius.

The weather will remain hot and humid in the city over the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, different areas of Karachi received rainfall this morning, and PMD has released the rainfall data for the last 24 hours in the city.

The highest rainfall of 6 millimeters was recorded in the Korangi area of Karachi, while 4 millimeters of rain was recorded in Gadap and Quaidabad.

Rainfall of 2 millimeters was recorded at Jinnah Terminal, Faisal Base, Keamari, and Met Complex, while 1 millimeter of rain was recorded in North Karachi, Surjani, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, and Malir Halt.
