Judge who sentenced Imran and Bushra in iddat case promoted
The Islamabad High Court has promoted five senior civil judges, including the judge who sentenced former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the disqualification case.
The Registrar Office issued a notification announcing the promotions after receiving approval from the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court.
The five judges, who have been elevated from Senior Civil Judges to Additional District and Sessions Judges, include: Amer Aziz, Nasr Minallah, Muhammad Shabbir, Qudratullah, and Mujahid Rahim.
Judge Qudratullah was the presiding judge in the disqualification case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
