Police raids illegal betel factory on mosque’s roof in Karachi
Police has raided a factory that makes gutka (betel) on the roof of a mosque in Rizvia Society, Karachi.
Police have recovered the machines and materials used for making gutka from the mosque’s roof.
According to SSP Asghar Ali, a man named Ashfaq had rented out a part of the mosque’s roof to operate this illegal gutka manufacturing unit.
The police are currently conducting raids to apprehend the suspect, who has absconded.
