Here is how many Afghan citizens have left Pakistan so far

432 families were repatriated in 496 vehicles

Pakistan is continuing the second phase of the its operation of to repatriate illegal Afghan residents.

More than 800,000 Afghans are likely to be expelled in the second phase of the controversial plan.

According to authorities, the total number of illegal Afghan residents who have left Pakistan as of July 3, 2024, has reached 637,427.

In this regard, it was further reported that from June 1 to July 3, 7345 men, 4732 women, and 4369 children returned, while 432 families were repatriated in 496 vehicles.

It is important to remember that even before the federal government’s announcement, a large number of illegal Afghan residents had been returning to Afghanistan from Pakistan due to fear of arrest.
