Police claim to arrest main suspect in Swat lynching case
Police have claimed to have arrested the main suspect in the Swat lynching incident where individuals took the law into their own hands and killed man.
According to police, the suspect will be presented in court today for a remand hearing, after which he will be presented before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
Police further stated that the suspect had recorded a video statement after taking the law into his own hands, which went viral on social media.
It is worth noting that 40 individuals arrested in connection with the incident in Madyan, accused of “blasphemy,” will be presented in court today. The suspects face charges under various sections of the law, including terrorism.

SP Investigation Badshah Hazrat, in an interview with Aaj News, said that the arrested individuals involved in the Madyan incident will be presented in the anti-terrorism court today.
It is important to note that a case has been registered against 2,500 individuals in connection with the incident in Madyan.
