CDA announces to develop Islamabad’s first Wild Life Safari Park

Emphasizes on the importance of leveraging experiences from other parks

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced that it aims to develop Islamabad’s first wild life safari park.

The decision was made during a meeting led by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa. It was also attended by senior CDA officers.

In further elaboration of the plan, Randhawa told the meeting that the theme park will feature jungle theme, incorporating tree houses, arrangements for close animal encounters and a rehabilitation and rescue center for animals.

He emphasized the importance of leveraging experiences from national and international safari parks.

He also stated that the aim is to create state-of-the-art facility in Islamabad.

Randhawa said that a technical committee has also been formed to access the financial and technical aspects of the project.

In addition, the meeting decided to launch “Pakistan Street”, which will showcase variety of cuisine from around the world.

Randhawa in his closing statement stated that after thorough planning and work on both objectives, the plans will commence in the next financial year.
