A tragic incident occurred in Dijkot today, claiming the lives of four workers who were engaged in sewerage disposal work.

One rescue worker was also critically injured and transported to the hospital.

According to rescue officials, the workers were employed by the Municipal Committee and were working on a sewerage disposal project at a graveyard.

The workers fell into the disposal system while performing their duties.

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, expressed her condolences over the tragic incident.
