“So today, I am getting a basal cell carcinoma removed from my head,” Jonas explained in the video. Basal cell carcinoma is a type of skin cancer that commonly occurs on sun-exposed areas of the skin.
Jonas documented the procedure, showing the small growth on his forehead. “Yes, that is a actual little skin cancer guy that just started to grow,” he said. “And now, I have to get surgery to remove it.”

After the operation, Jonas expressed relief, saying “Now, it’s time to heal and home.” He captioned the video, “Friendly reminder to get your moles checked.”
The Skin Cancer Foundation reposted Jonas’ video, thanking him for using his platform to promote early detection. “Early detection can be lifesaving,” they wrote. “Wishing you the best on your BCC surgery and recovery.”
