Ricochet narrowly missed joining popular WWE stable The Hurt Business
Ricochet has confirmed that he was almost brought in as the fourth member of WWE’s popular stable The Hurt Business.
According to the report, WWE veteran MVP, a key member of The Hurt Business, had wanted both Ricochet and Cedric Alexander to be part of the group.
The company only allowed the faction to have one additional member, and MVP ended up choosing Cedric Alexander over Ricochet.
“True story. When we were forming The Hurt Business, I asked for BOTH Ricochet AND Cedric Alexander. We were told we could only have 1. We chose Cedric because we felt he needed our association more than Ricochet did.
I always thought Ricky O would be a big star on his own,“ MVP revealed in a recent tweet.
Ricochet himself confirmed the accuracy of MVP’s statement by liking the tweet. This suggests the talented high-flyer was indeed close to joining the dominant stable led by MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.
