Singer and composer Vishal Dadlani has promised a job to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable who allegedly slapped Bollywood actress and politician Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport on Thursday.

“I do not ever support violence, but I absolutely understand the need of this @official_cisf personnel’s anger. If any action is taken against her by the CISF, I will ensure that she has a job waiting for her should she choose to accept it. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan (sic),” he wrote in an Instagram post.

The incident occurred when Ranaut was proceeding to the boarding area after the security check, and the constable, identified as Kulwinder Kaur, reportedly slapped the actress.

The constable was reportedly detained after the incident, and later suspended after Ranaut lodged a complaint with CISF officials upon her arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.
