In a tragic incident, two brothers were killed and their father injured after being struck by lightning in the mountainous region of Peel, Khushab, on Wednesday.

The incident occurred during heavy rain and hailstorm as the two young men, 15-year-old Amir Khan and 18-year-old Zahid Khan, were returning home with their father, Mubarak Khan.

The lightning strike instantly killed both brothers, while their father sustained injuries.

Rescue workers arrived at the scene and transported the bodies and the injured to the hospital.
