Internet sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan is set to make his foray into the world of cinema with the upcoming release of his debut film, ‘Sabaq,’ which is slated to hit theatres this Eid.

Khan became a social media sensation after he released his anthem for the Pakistan Super League season eight. He resides in London and shares his songs on social media platforms.

Directed and written by Faraz Ahmed, the movie is a comedy-drama that delves into the themes of second marriages and the world of social media influencers. The trailer features Khan in his style as he is often seen in a dhoti kurta.

“King of hearts, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, all the way from London,” he said in one of the scenes of the trailer.

This new venture into the world of cinema marks a significant milestone in Khan’s multifaceted career. The British-Pakistani sensation, known for his viral singing videos, had previously taken an unexpected turn by entering the realm of politics. In December, Khan officially submitted his nomination papers to run as an independent candidate for a seat in Lahore’s NA-128 National Assembly constituency.
