Saudi Arabia offers Pakistan cricketers royal hajj upon win in T20 WC

Ambassador Al-Malki conveyed his hopes for the team's success in a video message

The Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Malki, has issued a special video message to the Pakistan Cricket Team, expressing his best wishes for their upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign.

In his message, Ambassador Al-Malki conveyed his hopes for the team’s success, stating, that the team will return victorious and will be celebrated by the entire nation.

He further extended his prayers for the prosperity and progress of Pakistan and made a special promise: if the Pakistani team wins the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, they will be honored as royal guests on the Hajj pilgrimage next year.

The Pakistani team, after recently losing a T20 series to England, has arrived in Dallas, USA, for their World Cup preparations. They will begin practice sessions today after a day of rest.

Pakistan will kick off their T20 World Cup campaign on June 6 in Dallas against the host team, USA. They will then face India on June 9, Canada on June 11, and Ireland on June 16.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 8 stage in the West Indies.
