Plane carrying Sindh Governor makes emergency landing
A private airline flight bound for Islamabad from Karachi made an emergency landing at Karachi airport on Sunday after experiencing a technical malfunction. Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori and his family were on board the flight and narrowly escaped the incident.
Sources revealed that the Fly Jinnah flight, carrying Governor Tessori and his family, encountered a technical issue shortly after takeoff. The pilot immediately requested emergency landing permission from air traffic control.
Flight number 670, carrying over 150 passengers including the Sindh Governor, had to make an emergency landing. This is not the first incident involving this particular Fly Jinnah aircraft, which has made several emergency landings in the past two weeks due to technical issues.
According to sources at the Civil Aviation Authority, the flight was canceled after the emergency landing. The aircraft, which had been airborne for 25 minutes, was in the airspace of Nawabshah when the technical malfunction occurred.
The Fly Jinnah pilot successfully navigated the aircraft back to Karachi airport. Air traffic control cleared the runway for landing.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time Governor Kamran Tessori has experienced a technical malfunction on a flight, leading to an emergency landing.
