Chris Hemsworth in talks with ‘Transformer One’ makers
Actor Chris Hemsworth is in negotiations to star in the highly anticipated crossover film between the iconic Transformers and G.I. Joe franchises.
This would mark Hemsworth’s second involvement with the Transformers universe, as he is already set to voice a young Optimus Prime in the upcoming animated movie “Transformers One,” slated for release in September.
The crossover project, officially confirmed at the CinemaCon by Paramount, will follow the story of Anthony Ramos’ character Noah as he transitions from an unemployed individual to joining the elite G.I.
This historic collaboration will be the first time the two beloved 1980s brands come together on the big screen, despite previous crossovers in Marvel comics.
“This crossover marks a significant milestone for both the Transformers and G.I. Joe franchises. Bringing together these two beloved properties with the star power of Chris Hemsworth is sure to create an epic cinematic experience for audience’s worldwide.” said producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura.
